Brick

Brick and his brother Axl were brought indoors during Labor Day weekend. Both seemingly had no experience with and were very fearful of people. In the short few weeks since then Brick (and Axl) have made so much progress but are still learning to love. Brick sometimes may cower and even hiss when going to pick him up but has never swatted or attempted to bite. After he is picked up and feels those neck and chin rubs, he remembers people aren’t so bad and is a huge purrer! He has probably also had some food insecurity during his outdoor life as he is very food motivated and sometimes digs in so heartily (especially with wet food) that you would think he was starved and by the time he finishes has a face full of food! He is otherwise very playful and energetic, loves spring toys and wand toys! Most of all he just needs to spend some time in his forever home so he can fully realize he is safe, loved, and won’t be hungry again ❤️
